WHITE FACE CREW ROVING
White Face Crew are regular roving performers are often spotted roving Auckland streets, squares, parks, and villages with general tomfoolery at a variety of events. Their roving performances have included Auckland Arts Festivals White Night 2016 & 2017 and pre-show entertainment at Groupe F, WOMAD 2015, Cubadupa 2017, Waitangi Day celebrations, World Masters Games 2017, 2017 Rugby Lions and 2011 Rugby World Cup Fanzones.
White Face Crew worked on Auckland Council's POP Project from 2014 – 2016 enlivening Aucklander commuter and daily experiences. Collaborating with ALT group, the crew came up with unique concepts for pop-up roving performances in train stations, town centres and parks, and Auckland city’s cycleways. Interaction with passers-by is a key part of the experience, as the White Face Crew evokes joy, magic, fun and connection in spontaneous moments.
